Tarun Bansal trained in India MBBS from Dr MGR Medical University in Chennai and MD General Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. He completed MRCP (London) in 2007, and MRCP Nephrology in 2010. He has been working as Consultant Nephrologist in the UK. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physician (FRCP) . He has strong interest in teaching. Currently, he is training program director for Foundation Year Training Program Director and Training Program Director for Internal Medicine Training (IMT). He is currently leading the Renal Research and is Principal Investigator for multiple NIHR and Industry sponsored clinical trials. He regularly publishes in peer reviewed journals. He lives with a wife and 2 daughters, enjoys hiking, travelling and keenly follows international cricket.
